Uncharted 3 Shade Survival Mode DLC Gets Release Date, Price, Trailer

The flow of Uncharted 3 DLC continues apace. Just over a month after the release of the Flashback Map Pack 2, Naughty Dog has unveiled the next packet, Shade Survival Mode for multiplayer, due out next Tuesday. Shade Survival Mode pits teams against the Djinn (“genies”) that made the ending of Uncharted 3 so damned difficult. You and your friends face off against wave after wave of increasingly difficult Djinn, the goal being to last all 8 rounds. Rounds will also feature different objectives, like the targeting of a specific Djinn, adding variety to standard survival mode coop.

Here’s a look at the trailer:

Shade Survival mode also boasts new dynamic lighting and particle effects and “fresh technical polish” making full use of the Uncharted 3 engine. It drops March 13th, and will cost $5.99. Members of the Fortune Hunters Club will get it for free as part of their membership. The final, still-untitled Uncharted 3 DLC packet will be available in April.

Those old maps are in COD: World at War. Nacht der Untoten is included and the 3 oehtrs (Verruckt, Shi No Numa and der Riese) are DLCs. And yeah these are the old maps that will be included in the Hardened and Prestige Black Ops editions.I can see that at some point they will sell the Black Ops version of these maps sometime down the road if the demand is high. I mean there are still tonnes of people playing Zombies on those maps in CODWaW so it now all depends if these WaW players (like me) will switch over to Black Ops almost readily .
