VGAs 2011: ‘The Last Of Us’ Footage
A few days ago, we speculated that, based on scant information in the The Last Of Us teaser, “Cordyceps is a type of parasitic fungus that is able to affect its host’s behavior. While there are no currently known species that affect humans, the premise of this game may involve a deadly evolution.” Looks like we were right. Here’s the trailer that just showed on the VGAs.
So what do you think? Is it a strong entry in the survival horror genre or just another post-apocalyptic game? Personally I think it looks like Nathan Drake meets The Stand, and that’s alright with me. Let us know what you think.

I prefer videos of actual gameplay. Any game can have a half decent FMV and still end up being . That’s why the Metal Gear Rising trailer was so good.
