Anyone who has experienced it knows all too well and video game addiction is real. Although gaming addiction is not yet officially recognized as a diagnosable disorder by the American Medical Association, there is increasing evidence that people of all ages, especially teens and pre-teens, are facing very real, sometimes severe consequences associated with compulsive use of video and computer games! I also have a few friends that are stuck 7 days a week in front of a screen. Itried to help but its impossible! very sad

from my understanding, addictions require some form of physical pain when you go without whatever it is you are addicted to. I can go weeks without games and not like it, but I don't suffer from any symptoms.
