It seems like the video game slacker movement is spreading to those lesser known middle-eastern countries, namely the United Arab Emirates.
“There are kids who bunk classes and lie to their parents that they were at school. They spend almost the whole day playing video games. Even during exam days, you can see them hanging around the amusement halls until one or two at night,” said Saeed, an 18-year-old quoted in this Khaleej Times article.
Oh dear. I’m afraid, well, at least the general Middle Eastern territory, will have yet another reason to be pissed off at “The West.” Anyone else lie to their parents for video games? I know I have.

I find that very hard to believe, it’s just another scam to put down western society. “Bunking” school out there is in no way as easy as it is in our countries.
The poor kids might as well have leashes around their necks.
