Fans of the creative scores of video game music will be treated to an extra special concert in DC. Music 4 Games has announced that Jack Wall and Tommy Tallarico’s brain child, Video Games Live will be coming to the Kennedy Center Concert Hall for two performances.
“What an incredible honor for us and the entire video game industry to be playing at such a historical landmark with such a prestigious symphony,” said video game composer and Video Games Live co-creator Jack Wall. Fellow co-creator and game composer Tommy Tallarico added “We’ve already started inviting as many local politicians and their families as possible. It’s important for us to show everyone how incredibly creative, artistic and significant video games and the culture surrounding them have become.”
DreamAuthentics is sponsoring the Xbox “Video Games Live” Sweepstakes which will send one lucky winner as a VIP guest to DC for the concert. The winner’s entire trip will be filmed for ManiaTV’s Arcade segment. A new video camera and a video game prize package sweeten the deal.
Video Games Live is an immersive concert experience featuring the National Symphony Orchestra with solo artists performing pieces written exclusively for video games. The music is accentuated with exclusive video footage, synchronized lighting, live action and interactive segments.
