Video: Taking Xbox One’s Snap Feature For A Spin

One of the new UI features coming with the forthcoming Xbox One is Snap, a tool that allows you to bring in a second task while you’re playing a game. Xbox CMO Yusuf Mehdi takes Snap for a spin, showing how you can quickly bring in TV, Internet Explorer, or your friends feed while playing a game like Forza 5.

I don’t plan on using Kinect to “enhance” my gaming experience (leaning and in-game commands and the like), but being able to control everything outside of your game without pausing the action is a pretty attractive feature to me. If only you could program commands in. “Xbox, COMMENCE PARTY.”

that seems cool, sorta useful, but the watching TV at the same time as playing a game on the same screen seems sorta stupid

I guess that once you realize you just payed 500$ to keep playing at 720p all you want to do is watch TV or whatever involves stop playing that crap. Handy.
