Volition: The PC Version of Saints Row: The Third Is Not a Port

In a blog post on the official Saints Row site, the folks at Volition remind us once again that the PC version of Saints Row: The Third is going to be much better than the PC version of Saints Row 2.

As many of our PC fans are probably aware, the Saints Row 2 port on PC could’ve been a lot better. With Saints Row: The Third though, we’ve taken all of the development of the PC version in-house, so that the PC version will be at the same level of playability as the console versions.

Saints Row: The Third on PC is not a port.

And they’re going to bribe you into liking it, because on Steam you’ll be able to record videos of you doing weird things and get free Team Fortress bobblehead masks to wear as you terrorize the city. Sounds fantastic!

Good. Well, we’ll see what’s what when the game is released. PC versions of games seem to have a lot of problems lately.
