Chris, you are 100% right. There is no confirmed US data. However, the same breed of person that reads gaming sites and comments on Digg has no problem buying this off the web.

I just saw the same story multiple times in one day and it started to get under my skin. Sure, you can’t walk in to Wal-Mart and buy a second gun but no one anywhere has acknowledged the ability to buy a import gun. And it’s the black one! The one people are after to begin with.

To me it just shows the copy and paste mentality of a blog style media versus taking ten minutes to check some retailers/dig a little deeper for info “the other guy” didn’t post. I did five minutes of searching expecting to find a third-party gun and I found a first-party release.

Brandon, did you consider that your average gamer that picks up the game and wants to play the multiplayer doesn’t want to import the gun?

Also, if you could show me where that’s confirmed for release in the US, that’d be great, but to the best of my knowledge, it hasn’t been.

So no, it’s not a non-issue.

Outrageous. To think that people don’t ship stand-alones for games with co-op features on the day. Also, maybe they could include a second for those who play co-op?

December 20th. This is a non-f’in issue. If you want to complain about anything, talk about how Japan gets the stand-alone gun first. Oh wait…that’s how the game industry works.
