Warhammer 40K Board Game Space Hulk Coming to PC in 2013

The 1989 Warhammer 40,000 board game spin-off “Space Hulk” is being adapted into a video game for PC, Mac, and iOS by developer Full Control and publisher Games Workshop.

Due some time in 2013, Space Hulk will be a turn-based strategy game featuring Space Marine Terminators fighting Alien Genestealers, set in the isolated corridors and tomb-like chambers of an ancient vessel lost in the graveyard of space. Games Workshop describes it as a “turn-based game that emulates the look and feel of the board game, but with full 3D animation.”

The 12 mission single-player and co-op will be based on the Sin of Damnation campaign from the third edition of the board game. Additionally, there will be cross-platform competitive multplayer, a level editor and DLC expansions to come.

There was a Space Hulk PC game about twenty years ago. I sure hope this remake turns out better than that XCOM fiasco.
