Through what undoubtedly equates to some mixture of witchcraft and satanic worship, the v1.1 Warhawk patch has leaked out to certain individuals playing with the Blu-ray version of the game in the US. The problem has been resolved and the patch can no longer be downloaded.
For those that did inadvertently download the patch, there is a remedy. Head to the XMB, go to the Game Data Utility, and delete your Warhawk files. Then, next time you start the game it’ll automatically reinstall the v1.0 files. Don’t worry if you’ve got saved data; this won’t have any effect on that.
The patch is still on track to release by the end of the month, with the v1.2 patch following in December.

Whoa, hold on. I thought patches were good things? What’s wrong with them coming early?

Surely there has to be something to leak though? Namely, the finished product, otherwise, what’s the point of leaking one bit? Not gonna achieve anything.

Who knows, it was probably a technical oversight that allowed it out, but it’s still in testing, being ironed out, so it’s probably best that they finish it up before we get our hands on it.
