The latest issue of Game Informer contains details on a new expansion for the awesome Incognito game Warhawk. Rumor also has it that the expansion will hit in December, and will include a new dropship vehicle which will sport rocket launchers and the ability to airlift vehicles across maps. Nice.
While there are plenty of other areas that could see new content (weapons and maps, for example), the dropship is the only detail currently floating out there. There’s no price attached to the expansion which hasn’t actually been officially confirmed. But, while he couldn’t comment on the rumored expansion, Warhawk director Dylan Jobe did release a statement to Shacknews that certainly doesn’t shoot down the concept of an expansion.
“We’ve already made significant updates on the server-side to help issues with stats and connectivity,” noted Jobe, “and we will further update the community with additional server-side updates, as well as client-side patches.”
I’m glad to hear it. Warhawk is my favorite game on PlayStation 3 by far, so I’ll be happy to open my virtual wallet to get some new Warhawk goodness.
