Warlords of Draenor Will Let WoW Players Skip to Level 90

Has it been a while since you played World of Warcraft? Are you worried that you’ll take forever to catch up to the ever-increasing level cap? If you are, have we got some news for you.

“Arise a champion,” says the Warloads of Draenor website. What does that mean? Simply put, if you pick up the just-announced World of Warcraft expansion, you’ll be able to instantly level one character to level 90. That means that you’d be prepared to head to the new continent of Draenor and take on the new challenges in the expansion.

While this does sound pretty cool for returning players, it’s important to note that you’ll still need to level all your alts up the old-fashioned way. That’s OK, because if you haven’t played in a while, there’s plenty of content from the previous four expansions to check out.

Games doing this are desperate and make their game pointless to play! It makes no real sense as it doesn’t make you want to be at any other level but what your given its like giving a baby a bachelors degree. Stupid.

This is the dumbest thing ever to come out of WoW.

I’m not surprised by this. WOW numbers have been dropping off, so I’m sure they’re concerned that sales won’t be as good as they were for previous expansions.

For me, I never really minded if a game suggested that I be at a higher level in order to tackle new content. I usually took that as an excuse to play the rest of the game some more and perhaps do some things I hadn’t done yet.
