Was Your Copy Of Batman: Arkham City Missing The Catwoman Codes?

Destructoid is reporting on some potentially disturbing news for fans of the new instant classic Batman: Arkham City. It seems a number of copies have been shipped without the card containing the Catwoman unlock code. Without that code, players are deprived of access to 4 additional missions. One Desructoid reader apparently recieved a copy of the card without the code printed on it. Others have reported misprinted codes that couldn’t be redeemed.

Jim Sterling is right – this is further proof that the increasing reliance on codes to lock players out of certain content is bullshit. Hopefully, Rocksteady will do the right thing and just unlock the content for all members.

No problems but what’s the point, the games main story line is like 7-10 hours long.

Typo.

“…new instant classic Batman: Arkham Asylum.”

Should be Arkham City.

Bout a used copy out of GameStop where im a member, got home and opened the game…the code didnt work so i took it back for a refund but grew attached to Batman Arkham city(my first) so i traded in more games and got the same one for less than what i origanlly paid for it. Sales person “matthew”(under the bus) said the “code” is on the receipt…get home and the f#%*k”n code still dont work! Ownd?? you tell me! i spent car fare doing this!

Code was there but didn’t work, received another copy from JB Hifi Australia, still didn’t work. If RockSteady wants to rip gamers off, at least they should do it properly.. Unfortunately any correspondence is met with silence. These people just want your money and hope that you fork out another ten bucks. Never will I purchase their again, unless it’s below 20 bucks

I just bought a brand new copy, and apparently this gem of a problem still has “winning” cases out and about. I have emailed them a very brief, polite email and hope they reply soon.

But, yeah, this code has got to go …. but it won’t, because that whole attitude of don’t resell your games is becoming more and more a real pain.
