Wasteland 2 Gets New September Release Date

Wasteland 2 will officially release on September 19th, 2014.

This new launch date was revealed today by series creator Brian Fargo in a posting to his personal Twitter profile.

“Official Wasteland 2 release date… September 19th,” Tweeted Fargo. “The 20+ year wait is soon over.”

This news is likely to be welcome to fans of the seminal role-playing franchise, many of whom helped fund the new game’s development via its wildly successful Kickstarter. They’ll also probably appreciate having a specific release date, especially since Fargo and inXile were previously forced to delay its release past the game’s originally planned August launch window. Prospective players will be able to find Wasteland 2 on PC, Mac and Linux and will cost $59.99 on Steam.

@Sep + Squinty

It’s been said the price will drop on release, $40-50 apparently.
