Watch 11 Minutes of Parkour in Dying Light’s Zombie Apocalypse

The makers of the Dead Island series, Techland, are at work on their latest title, Dying Light, a first-person, action survival horror game set in a “vast and dangerous open world.” It’s a game with zombies and parkour—like Dead Island meets Mirror’s Edge. Check out our E3 preview here.

In a newly released 11-minute video, players get a look at daytime. During the day, players must traverse the urban environment, scavenging the world for supplies and crafting weapons to defend against the growing population of zombies. By night the players must to do everything they can to survive until the morning.

Dying Light is set for launch on the PC, Xbox 360, PS3, Xbox One, and PS4 in 2014.

It seems interesting but, like it’s the last Two Zombie Games, Techland showcased a lot of promises in the trailers and demos of [Pre-Alpha Footage] that never panned out completely either.

I’ll keep an eye on this game, but like many others in an industry who integrity is hanging by a thread, I’ll withhold any judgement or enjoyment for when I finally get my own hands on it in some shape or form.

What I meant to say was:

“It seems interesting, but it looks to much like the last Two Zombie Games they made. Techland showcased a lot of promises in those trailers and demos [Pre-Alpha Footage tags included] that never panned out completely in either of there previous games.

I’ll keep an eye on this one, but like many others in an industry whose integrity is hanging by a thread, I’ll withhold any judgement or enjoyment for when I finally get my own hands on it in some shape or form.”

Man, I wish there was an edit button.
Gotta start proof-reading my comments for this site.
