Watch Dogs PC Mod Enhances Visuals to Match Original E3 Demo

A mod has been created that improves the visuals in the PC version of Watch Dogs to the level showcased in the game’s original reveal demo.

The download, which was created by a modder going by the handle TheWorse, includes a variety of enhancements aimed at the raising the graphical quality in the final game to something more comparable with what Ubisoft originally showed back when it first unveiled the game at E3 2012. The enhancements in the mod include:

  • Changes to the default fog values
  • Enabled bokeh DOF for the main cameras
  • Stuttering Improvements
  • E3 2012 Bloom
  • Performance Improvements
  • Enabled Headlight Shadows
  • LoD Changes
  • Reflection changes
  • Added 3 new cameras to the game(closer, normal, further)
  • Rain changes(High quality rain drops, properly reacting to light, etc)
  • LensFlares(Work in progress)
  • Lighting changes(Work in progress)
  • Civilians density changes

This mod will likely come in handy for the many gamers who were left feeling more than a bit peeved when Ubisoft revealed that the final game would feature somewhat less shiny visuals than what those promised by the company much of the game’s development. The mod itself is 52.2KB in size and can be found by clicking the download button below.

This is the reason why I wait to play games. Now for this I’m not purchasing this game or any game from Ubisoft just like I’m doing with Bioware.

This is the reason I hate console gaming and prefer P.C. because only on P.C. you can catch this type of stuff. Imagine if this feature is locked for Xbox and Palaystation.
