Wet 2 Cancelled (RUMOR)

Wet was a Bethesda-published game about an assassin named Rubi who was voiced by Eliza Dushku. Launched in September of 2009, the game featured a unique art style, slow motion acrobatics, and lots of shooting.

Last year Remi Racine, the CEO of developer Behaviour, dropped the news that Wet 2 was in development. This morning, SiliconEra spotted an entry on a former employee’s LinkedIn profile that shows Wet 2 as a “cancelled game.” They also mention that between March and April of this year, a number of employees that were working on Wet 2 left the company.

Obviously, this isn’t definitive, but it’s certainly suggestive. It looks like the sequel to Rubi’s blood-soaked adventures may have been put down. We’ll be sure to update if we receive confirmation of this report.

From that GameFront game naming chart it should have called itself 2Wet.
With that name it would have never been cancelled.
