What do gamers want out of Halo 3? Well for starters, the “Push-to-talk” has got to go.
There’s a nice article here of a few common desires for gamers for what they would like to see changed in Halo 3. Or, “fixed,” rather.
So besides the Push-to-talk, we have a needler-makeover and polishing the graphics… Polishing the graphics? People, it’s the beta version–that’s to be expected. That’s like walking up to Michaelangelo sculpting David and saying, “Dude, you still need to carve out his junk.”
Wait, it’s nothing like that, actually…

i agree that push to talk has to go. team talk should be default just like every other game in the world. (gears of war) it is to much of a hassle to push the d pad and play at the same time

Graphics need to Improve i dont care if this is Beta…Bungie Promised us that Halo 3 would be the Best Game of the Year…This is NEXT GEN not LAST GEN Bungie….Bungie you had like 3 years to make this a great game…COME ON BUNGIE GRAHPICS BETTER BE IMPROVED BY SEPTEMBER 29 2007 OR ELSE….

I think that they should hav that you look for rooms(like in gears of war) instead of lookin for the ideal match b/c sometimes it takes too long to find a match. lots of weapons, new flight vehicles and tanks, bigger maps. make ur own rooms and ppl could join in the middle of the match(sometimes ppl quit and there would be 3 or 4 ppl against like 7). the bubble shield should activate rite when u press X, should be little and follow you around like in the preview for halo 3.:mrgreen:

GRAPHICS, GRAPHICS, GRAPHICS! Please, like the previous poster said, WE NEED STUNNING GRAPHICS! I hate to beat an old dog, but Gears of War did it, so should Halo 3.It’s unlikely that Halo 3 will push the envelope gameplay-wise, it’s a run and gun shooter. Don’t expect any cover mechanics or squad control, just the same old circle-strafe and jump 15 feet in the air. That’s fine. That is what Halo fans expect, which is why GRAPHICS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ASPECT in Halo 3. There’s 4 months until the release. PLEASE IMPROVE THE GRAPHICS AS DRASTICALLY AS YOU CAN! Thanks.

Personally, i found the graphics in the Beta were great. Everything is alot more detailed and the texture in things are in more depth. Although, on highground it was cool to see the grass swaying in the breeze but it still had clumps of grass that are flat. Other than that i thought the graphics were pretty good for a beta. I can’t wait until i see the real thing on the 25th!
