This is so true. I have been in guilds in WoW that break up because guys are trying to score with chicks or the chicks are just wanting to have “FUN”. Fun for a chick is to get as many guys to do things as they can and be the center of attention thus bringing in the drama. I have heard and seen things in guilds that have women that just aren’t there when there are all guys. A lot of male gamers are getting pissed off for many reasons with this. Girls that overly flirt and are the fun type you cannot trust. I find most girls play games because of the guys that play them, they know they can get guys to do most anything and they are just doing what comes natural to girls. I am a guy, I’ve had video game crushes, but as soon as I see girls swap from guy to guy which is more often true than not I just frustrated. Seriously no one wants a lose woman around cause that is drama. If they are going to be that way have a concubine section of the guild and label them that. Being said I know a lot of guys who quit WoW because of female drama cause we go to WoW to escape not be part of a freaking soap opera!

In response to JSL… Usually you can tell it’s a guy playing a girl toon the first time they hop on vent or TS… Don’t really agree with this article all that much, the females I raid with in WoW seem alot more cool mannered and serious then the guys.

That’s ignoring the entire core issue of the matter, which is that if someone claiming to be a female is trying to use sex in an MMORPG to gain favor and climb the ranks in a guide, they most likely aren’t actually female.
The lesson here is to make your relationships in real life only, and it’s always a great idea to remain gender anonymous.
