With war games becoming more and more detailed in modern gaming, it would be interesting to find out what historical military leader you are most like. I took the test and it turns out I am most like Teddy Roosevelt. I guess that makes sense considering I am a man of action and often hard to predict.

Military.com has put together a simple 4 question test that will try to match you with a historical military leader. Whether you are playing COD 4 or Halo 3, military strategy and tactics are definitely required to excel, whether you realize it or not. Click the link below to find out who you are most like. Ulysses S Grant.

Interesting, he’s more a “fight first, negotiate later” kinda guy. So am I.

    I’m George Washington.

The test does seem a bit overly American. Only 4 of the 16 leaders are non Americans which is a bit wierd seeing as war has been around for thousands of years yet the US was only founded a couple of hundred years ago.

Where are Julius Ceaser, Alexander the great, Oliver Cromwell, Rommel, Montgomery, Ghengis Khan, Hannibal, Scipio Africanus and all of the other famous military leaders?

Call me old fashioned but I think Sun Tzu deserves a place over Wesley Clark.

I was kind of hoping to find out I was Napoleon because that would have shed some light on a few things…. LMAO

@Chris. Its you that should not be pleased because he’s the worst one there

I believe the only ‘war’ he ever lead troops in was a 2 month jaunt in Kosovo.

Seriously, what the hell is that guy doing on the list?

Norbit, I have to agree. Clark isn’t exactly a figure I’d list as one of the all-time great war strategists, but the test is from an American military site.

Stephany, I dunno.. I bet he did wear pumps. Most genius military dudes are cross dressers on the side.. or at least i suspect they are. I spent 8 years in the military and you’d be surprised how many guys wear pumps while on leave. lol

    i got douglas macarthur.

i’m disappointed i didnt get one of the non american generals, but i am glad i didnt get roosevelt or eisenhower.

i also have to agree with norbit, it is very american and does miss a lot of THE great military leaders of history.

    @ WhoamI?

I would have preferred to be Eisenhower than Washington. Eisenhowers logistical skill and man management was one of the main reasons we won the second world war.
