Will It Blend? Guitar Hero III Controller


“Will It Blend?” is an online video series that’s gained a bit of notoriety by tapping into man’s innate desire to see things destroyed beyond recognition. The latest offering in the series tests the durability of Harmonix’s controller for Guitar Hero III. It takes some hammer work in the beginning, but in the end we learn that no amount of faux-rock star power can withstand high-speed blades of steel. Just remember that when you have your next “Guitar Hero/Smoothie Night.”

    Some versions of GHIII actually come with the Xplorer controller. The PC version is one of note. The box art tells all.

    Anyway, all the Les Paul GHIII controllers are being coveted at the moment.

    This is a more humane solution to euthanizing the utterly craptasic Xplorer controller.

    Next up, the Rock Band Fender Craptocaster. Preferrably one with a broken strum bar (shouldn’t be too hard to find, atm).
