Win a Copy of Mount & Blade: With Fire and Sword! (GIVEAWAY)

In case you didn’t read the announcement, we’re going back to our roots and enhancing our PC gaming coverage. In celebration of this, we’re going to give away some PC games!

The Mount & Blade series is one that every PC gamer should play. It’s an RPG set in a historically realistic 17th century, and it’s actually quite fun. Back at the end of May, we reviewed Mount & Blade: With Fire and Sword, and today we’re giving away 5 copies of the game on Steam.

All you need to do to get a chance to win a copy is to add a comment below telling us exactly what you’d like to see us covering now that we’re focusing on PC gaming. We’ll be drawing five random winners from all the entries. A couple of rules:

- You must leave a comment with a valid email address.

- You must post your comment before 11:59 PM this Thursday, July 14.

That’s all there is to it. Tell us what you want to see, and we’ll reward five of you with a brand new game to play!

Well im big fan of asssasins creed so Assassin’s Creed Revelations when comes out will be nice :D

On July 11, 2011 at 3:12 pm

I’d love to see coverage on upcoming games like Rage and Battlefield 3. Perhaps also “coverage” on new hardware coming out so that you can keep most of us up-to-date. RPGs is a must-cover. Finally, I’d also like to see you guys comment on free-to-play games like Team Fortress 2 or any others that you feel are legitimately awesome.

I’d like to see a focus on free games, because a lot of them are really well made and could use a popularity boost from outside their often small circles of followers.

Also, a focus on under-hyped indie games is also nice, though I see you have something along those lines already.

On July 11, 2011 at 7:34 pm

Coverage of fun free games on the net.

New game manner, that send the king A B into a dot bodyguards protect it on a cart against the aggressors who set traps in the forest, or the players competition shooting at a target together with knightly gymnastics, spectators and competitors.

On July 11, 2011 at 10:58 pm

i would love too see some mod info

On July 12, 2011 at 1:14 am

I’d like more coverage of indie games that don’t get a lot of airtime, like the terrarias and minecrafts out there.

I’d like to see coverage of freeware games.

Retrospectives on some classic PC games (both classically bad and classically good)

A game play diary, play a game for a month or two and write a little report each week. So week can see how the game progresses and it gives a better insight into a game than a review can.

Re-Reviews of previously reviewed games. See if they are still as good, even though they are a few years old. Maybe link this in to somewhere where the game is on sale.

A monthly round-up of the newest and best mods. Also a mention of newly announced mods.

More emphasis should be placed on RPG’s and Strategy games, the PC is the only place to play them properly. :)

Less emphasis on the FPS clones which pour out and are then forgotten.

Oh, and something I don’t want to see, ever. No mention of those stupid FaceBook games.

One more thing, gamer babe of the week! ;)

On July 12, 2011 at 1:52 am

You should cover a lot of indie games for PC and I would like to see your coverage of Battlefield 3, Gears of War 3 and other big games.

I’m happy to see that you’re planning to do what I’d like to see: coverage of free-to-play games – i believe there are a lots of great games out there that deserve the attention.

The world of games has changed so that only huge budget big brand games or something completely different have a chance to succeed. Huge budget games get their coverage anyways, so my suggestion is to focus on the “Something completely different”.

On July 12, 2011 at 6:13 am

Definetly Battlefield 3 for the Pc.I would love to see the differences between the console and pc versions in detail.

On July 12, 2011 at 7:41 am

i would like to see an emphasis on the growing number of hybrid “f2p” AAA titles, whether it is existing games converting over or new titles.

On July 12, 2011 at 10:43 am

Games that have a creative element to them are interesting, but I want to see popular mods for games like killing floor.

Glenn Miller

On July 12, 2011 at 11:14 am

I would like to see you guys really do your work and get the little known independents the coverage they deserve. Do the articles the other gaming sites don’t do, help out the little guy.

On July 12, 2011 at 11:42 am

You shoul cover the better than average mods since this a great way of improving PC games. Also M&B has some really great mods.

On July 12, 2011 at 1:24 pm

I want to see coverage of video/graphic cards both new and old that fits the needs of both budget and hardcore gamers. After all, u cant PC game without a decent video card!

On July 12, 2011 at 3:05 pm

Maybe post some guides to MMORPGs, since some can be very complicated or not newbie friendly

On July 12, 2011 at 3:07 pm

I’d like more cover from the modding community or popular files/mods from the community.

On July 12, 2011 at 3:21 pm

Coverage on indie games seems scarce these days!

I’ve always enjoyed playing indies, and hope Gamefront can do more coverage of them.

On July 12, 2011 at 3:37 pm

you should cover indie games and development to help inspire future game makers and to bring attention to independent developers and their games

On July 12, 2011 at 3:37 pm

I would like to see you cover some indie games, that aren’t exactly well known, to help boost their popularity.

On July 12, 2011 at 4:01 pm

well a small group of men are delivering some crops, weapons and supplies and the get ambushed. so the calvery( the guy in front) runs in first to protect the wagon.

On July 12, 2011 at 4:06 pm

It would be very interesting to read how a variety of present day games lay an emphasize on historical backgrounds and acuracy rather than pure fiction. A tendency that seems to be widly appreciated by gamers.

On July 12, 2011 at 4:35 pm

I’d love to see an article of the differences between mount and blade, warband and with fire and sword, on how the games where improved, got worse, how patches fixed ‘X’ and ‘Y’ Etc.
That would be cool.

On July 12, 2011 at 4:38 pm

Please cover all the great MMORPGS out there!

Raphael Green

On July 12, 2011 at 4:43 pm

Morgan Winter

On July 12, 2011 at 4:45 pm

I would like to see articles on some of the zombie themed games out there.

On July 12, 2011 at 5:09 pm

You should cover all the nice RPGs out there! (Oblivion’s modding possibilities, for example.)

On July 12, 2011 at 7:14 pm

Firstly I wana tell you thanks for that contest. I would like to see articles on game of the future about its some new technologies and researches. This is it.

On July 12, 2011 at 8:53 pm

I would love for you to cover some new revolutionary game engines. could be some great articles and whatnot. I see some amazing possibilities with some recent engines i’ve looked at. would love to see what you guys/gals could cover. after all, game engines have everything to do with the future of gaming!

Garyn Dakari

On July 12, 2011 at 11:07 pm

I’d like to see some coverage on game engines, such as UDK, CryEngine 3, and Source. Those are all great engines, and some more info about those here would be pretty spiffy.

Hardware coverage would be nice as well. Reviews on graphic cards, sounds cards, ect. Maybe even some notifications when there’s a sale? Or a new release? Just because it’s hard to play PC games without the hardware ya know.

Lets see…How about more info about the various Network Sites? Like, halofiles, ect. Like info about all the bugs it’s currently having…

Better coverage on demo releases perhaps? Maybe I just missed it, but I never saw a news announcement on any site announcing the demo of LEGO Pirates of the Carribean. I found it by accident on fileplanet a few weeks ago.

This one isn’t *really* coverage related, but could you reviewers give better spoiler warnings? I had the whole story for Half Life spoiled before I’d played it, on an article that wasn’t even Half Life related here on this site.

Okay, so these next few probably won’t happen, but I might as well throw them out as well…

How about a bit more coverage on the community here on Gamefront and its network sites? For instance, I think we broke the comment record on JK3Files a couple months ago, lol.

Perhaps notifications about contests on other sites? I dunno about the rest of you guys, but I love contests! This contest is awesome by the way, I played the demo of WFaS, but I haven’t bought it yet.

Closing comments:
Lovin’ the new coverage things, and this contest. GF just got a whole lot better!

On July 13, 2011 at 4:03 am

You should cover more games like the Mount and Blade series, and other PC exclusives that are cheap and better games than most Triple A console games.

I would really like to win this game for it’s single player since the multilayer is all in Warband

On July 13, 2011 at 4:39 am

I’d love to see you cover Diablo 3
