Witch Hunt Ends Dragon Age: Origins Story

“Never Follow Me.” With those words the Witch Morrigan disappeared into mystery at the end of Dragon Age: Origins. But what happened to her? Was the plan completed? Why has she returned to Ferelden?

The announcement of Dragon Age 2 demonstrates that those hoping for a direct continuation of the game were not going to find them in next years release. Bioware announced today that the next downloadable content for the original Dragon Age would finish out Morrigan’s tale, revealing her fate one year after the conclusion of the epic story.

“Witch Hunt” follows Leliana’s Song by focusing on the companion characters of the original game. Morrigan has been spotted back in the Kokari Wilds, near her mother Flemeth’s home. The Warden breaks her commandment to find out where the witch has been since the end of the game.

Like the other DA:Origins DLC, players unlock bonus items by completing this side story for use in Origins and Awakening. The add-on content will be released September 7th on PC, Xbox Live! and PSN for $7 (560 Bioware or Microsoft Points).
