Witcher 2 Modding Tools To Be Unveiled At Gamescom

If you’re going to be at Gamescom next week, you’re going to get a first glimpse of CD Projekt Red’s modding tool kit for Witcher 2: Assassin of Kings. While the tools, dubbed REDKit, won’t be shown off on the floor, they will presented to journalists during private appointments during the convention. Specific details won’t be unveiled until GameCom, but CDPR bills the kit as a means by which modders can “create complex and non-linear adventures in the world of The Witcher 2.”

Game Front won’t be a Gamescom this year – HINT, Game Front bosses, HINT HINT HINT – but we’ll definitely be keeping our eyes on this. You can bet not only that we’ll be playing around with REDKit when it becomes available, and that modders can host their files on Game Front. In the meantime, we’ll look forward to their free DLC.
