8393_180×270.jpgIf you have the World of Warcraft MMO, board game, card game, and manga and still can’t get enough; Blizzard has added comic books to its repetoire.

The new World of Warcraft monthly comic series hits stands today! This new ongoing series kicks off with part 1 of a 6-part story arc written by Walter Simonson (THOR, SUPERMAN) and illustrated by sensational French artist Ludo Lullabi and Sandra Hope (JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA)! Each issue of the 6-issue story features two different covers: one by comic book legend Jim Lee and the other by Blizzard’s very own Samwise Didier!

Sign up for them online or get them at your local comic dealer. WoW fans can visit DC Comics World of Warcraft to read Issue zero and preview issue one.

That’s pretty interesting since World of Warcraft had its own series of books as well. I wonder if the comics will be based on those books.

i would assume the comics and books are all based on the lore blizz wrote for each entry in the warcraft franchise.
