Xbox 360 Back Compat Update Brings Playboy the Mansion

the-guy-game.jpgThe Xbox 360’s backwards compatibility grew a bit larger today with the November 2007 BC update, which apparently required there to be as many old sports games included as possible. It’s hard to really pinpoint any big name games, because there really aren’t (m)any. Playboy the Mansion is noteworthy because, well, it’s Playboy the Mansion.

The total number of Xbox games that are backwards compatible on the 360 is now past 300. One has to wonder if Microsoft will continue to roll out these updates with Xbox Originals set to launch next month.

To download the update, simply pop in any of the included games and boot it up while connected to Xbox Live. You’ll be prompted to download the update automatically.

Are there any remaining Xbox games you want to see added to the back compat list? It’s hard to come up with much now that Playboy, The Guy Game and Rocky have been added, but I’d still like to see The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind included in a future update. (Editor’s Note: The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind is already a backwards compatible title. It was added with the update back in July. Here’s the announcement.)

See the list of additions after the break.

Playboy the Mansion may be one of the worst games I ever played.

For the record Chris, Morrowind is a BC title… have you tried poping it into your 360 lately?

Yeah, I thought Morrowind was already BC.
I’m VERY happy to see D&D Heroes got added, as well as The Bards Tale, Forgotten Realms: Demon Stone, Freedom Fighters and Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance.

I would like to see the following added as well.

Rallisport Challenge 2
Chronicles of Rid
