Xbox 360 Copies of Driver SF missing Uplay Passport?

If you don’t have a Uplay Passport code for Driver: San Francisco, you can only play the game online for 48 hours, after which you’ll have to buy a Passport code in order to keep playing online. It’s distressing, then, that Joystiq is reporting that the Xbox 360 version of the game seems to be missing the 25-character code, instead including a 19-character code that unlocks DLC.

Ubisoft says they’ll issue a statement today that explains what’s going on. Hopefully “what’s going on” isn’t that everybody who buys the game on Xbox will have to buy a code.
