Yakuza 4 Goes West, Young Man

Yakuza4So Yakuza 3 totally didn’t bomb in the Western world, and Sega is rewarding gamers for shelling out that cash with the chance to shell out more cash on a western release of the PS3-exclusive Yakuza 4 in spring 2011.

Says the Sega Europe blog: “4 is a very powerful number in this particular installment as not only will you experience the gritty atmosphere of Kiryu Kazuma’s experiences; three other characters will also be available to play, each of them with their own engaging backstory and a gripping interwoven plot.” More after the jump.

Better yet, Yakuza producer  Toshihiro Nagoshi is taking questions. Head over to the Sega blog and post your Q in the comments, and after E3, Nagoshi will pick a few and answer them. WOOOOOO!

I hope SEGA has learned from their previous outing with Yakuza 3 to not leave anything out, no matter how weird it’ll seem to the Western World. With how resourceful the Internet is, if someone doesn’t understand something about the Japanese culture in Yakuza 4, then they can simply look it up.
