Yell at Your TV! Skyrim Gets Kinect Support

You’ll soon be able to harness the power of the Dovahkiin by shouting at your TV while you play Skyrim on your Xbox 360. Free Kinect support is coming to Skyrim later this month, featuring over 200 voice commands, including dragon shouts. FUS RO DAH!

Apart from the dragon shouts — but let’s be honest, you’ll get it for the dragon shouts — the Kinect intergration will offer voice commands throughout the game including Hotkey Equipping, Follower Commands, and all Menus (Items, Magic, Map, Barter, Container, Favorites, and Skills).

Watch this upcoming feature in action as programmer Ricardo Gonzalez walks us through it:

I’m sorry, Ricardo, but your dragon shout leaves something to be desired. One does not simply say “Fus ro,” one must DRAGON SHOUT IT!

It sounds like this may be a Kinect exclusive, which is somewhat disappointing because I would have loved to shout into my headset mic on PC.
