You Can Beat Skyrim In 136 minutes
People like these Elder Scrolls games because they have a lot of content, but you don’t have to see all of it to complete the game. In fact, the game is kinda short if you know what you’re doing. The important part of that that last sentence is “if you know what you’re doing.”
The QA testers and developers at Bethesda know what they’re doing, and two of them managed to complete the entirety of Skyrim in less than 137 minutes.
This is a tradition of sorts at Bethesda; they get close to wrapping a game, and they have a speedrun competition. It’s the best of the QA guys vs. the best of the developers. Sam from QA and Jeff from the Studio had at it, and the thing was oh so close. Sam won, with a time of 2:16:10 to Jeff’s 2:16:30. I mean holy hell.
It should be noted that this is nearly twice as long as it took these same two guys to get through Fallout 3, so I guess we can expect twice as much content in Skyrim. Right?

I call BS. It is impossible to speedrun any game of this mass size in under 200 hours. The internet lies a lot. Don’t believe this pile of crap.
