You Can Play Counter-Strike: Global Offensive with a Mouse and Keyboard on PS3

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive will support cross-platform play between the PS3 and PC/Mac, which at first sounds awesome but then you realize that the PC folks are just going to own the s–t out of the PS3 players. Well, Valve is doing something to level the playing field. They’ve going to make it so the game also supports the mouse and keyboard on the PS3. Nuts!

Seriously, though this is cool, even if most folks don’t use it, because if they don’t, it’s their own damn vault that they suck when playing against PCers.

I”m not a big fan of FPS but keyboard and mouse support alone will be enough for me to buy this game and try it out. Ofcourse as long as the game doesn’t suck. I’ll be able to use my Logitech G700 :D hooyah!

wow… I must say that is the smartest thing consoles could do to save their sales for fps on console. Really uber smart.

Unreal Tournament 3 also did this on PS3. Unfortunately, it didn’t make the game any more popular.

I have 2 copies of unreal tournament3. I thought it was an awesome game. Love the keyboard and mouse support. Love the many cool in game vehicles. I have no idea why the game didn’t do better. I was surprised to find it on sale for $30 few months later.

Too bad it didn’t do well because that’s probably the reason why we haven’t seen another sequel and why we didn’t see more games having K&M support. K&M is so much more accurate and versatile. They both have their uses and pluses and minues. It would be nice to have support for both and let the gamer choose.
