Zachary Levi To Host the Spike VGAs

You remember how it was like a big deal that Eddie Murphy quit his Oscar-hosting gig like four months before the show? Well, I’m starting to wonder if the hubbub about that was unnecessary considering the Spike VGAs don’t even get a host until ten days before the show.

Anyway, Zachary Levi, best known as the star of Chuck on NBC, will be the host. He’s been in video games, so this is, like, a thing. He was in Fallout: New Vegas (which I knew) and Halo: Reach (which I did not know). So that’s cool. He seems like an all right guy I guess.

My utter ennui toward the whole event is getting in the way of me feeling anything about this news.

By the way, we will be once again live blogging the VGAs, so be sure to check into GF on the 10th for some hot humor action.
