If you want to have bodies all over a beach, guns or knives here and there, or wrecked planes or tanks as a few examples, all you have to do is to extract the StandardMesh.rfa from ...\Mods\BF1942\Archives so you can see what there is to choose from. All you have to do to get these in BC is to:

1. locate and extract the above file, StandardMesh.rfa

2. open bf1942.lst in the BC main directory

3. go through the extracted StandardMesh folder and choose the mesh or meshes you wish to add to bf1942.lst

4. go to the [PROPS] section of bf1942.lst, 2nd part, and type in a new line NameOfObject, you choose what you want it to say such as B-17_Left_Wing,=StandardMesh(ObjectFromStandardMeshFolder) an example is: German_Soldier=StandardMesh(GerBody) *only problem with the bodies is they have no hands or heads, lol, but they do come seperately* *BC alphabetizes it for you*

5. save bf1942.lst when you are done

u can always make it so that when people get killed their bodies stay for a longer peroid of time or even forever, but i dont know how much of a performance decrease that might occur

After looking at the StandardMesh.rfa in the ...\DesertCombat\Archives folder, it appears it would work the same as the above directions, but with the DesertCombat.lst file instead of course. For normal BF meshes in DC, you just add them to the DesertCombat.lst like you would for bf1942.lst. As for DC meshes I tried them and they didn't work, I'll play with them even more later, :uhm:.

I hate to announce it, but it appears that the once thought cool discovery doesn't work like it should. The game just crashes when you try to use some of the meshes. Unless a solution to the problem can be found I wasted 3 hrs today making a map, before I decided to go test it:'(.
