You'll need RFA Extractor, and MakeRFA.exe Extract the MAPNAMEHERE.rfa to, hmm, how about c:\

Go into the folder that was created for the map.

I think it would be C:\BF1942\LEVELS\MAPNAMEHERE

You'll see several folders for the different types of games, CTF, Conquest, Singleplayer, and TDM.

Within those folders resides two files you'll need to edit

ObjectSpawns.con ObjectSpawnTemplate.con

Open the ObjectSpawnTemplate.con You may see something like

. . . . .. . ScoutCarSpawner . . . . . . Willy . . . . . . Kubelwagen

If you don't then you'll have to extract a map that has jeeps and Kubels and copy that series of lines from it's objectspawntemplate.con

If it does, then just close the file.

Then open ObjectSpawns.con

If you want to replace a vehicle, just put 'ScoutCarSpawner' in front of 'ArtillerySpawner' 'TankSpawner' or whatever it says. The position indicates the position of the object so to add extra, just add 5 to one of the variables, it'll either put it in front or to the side, or up/down. The rest is mostly trial and error till you find the right coordinate

hmm I don't use the Map editor. It sucks.

I just position things near objects I can identify with and trial & error until I get it right.

As far as your program errors, I'm not sure. It's possible that you may be missing runtimes. Just search the internet for all the popular runtimes used by most programs, install them all and see if that works.

i dunno.
