Hey there everybody! Just a few issues with Battlecraft v2.1: 1)Whenever I try to load an already existing map it this window pops up and tells me that these and these components aren't in my Bf1942.lst. Example:River, etc. What's wrong? 2)There is not a Test this level function either, and the tutorial is for Battlecraft Vietnam, is there any major difference from this one compared to the 2.0? 3)Where can I find some tutorials for Editor42 and mapeditor 1.2? All help/hints would be greatly appreciated Thanx

Battlecraft 2.1 is for BF:V only i think, but im not 100% sure on that but if it is, you wont be able to use BF1942 for it because of the Undergrowth / Overgrowth systems and things BF1942 could never support

Hello everybody,

I'm working with BC v2.1 and tutorial sucks. You're right. It lacks a lot of details. A lot of features are self-descriptive but DUH !!!! MANUALS MUST BE COMPLETE !!!

I've got a problem with CTF game mode.

I loaded DC DUSTBOWL and saved it as DC DUSTBOWL AZERTY (whatever the name is...). Ok, no problem. I've tested DC DUSTBOWL AZERTY in CTF mode and : no flags to take. They're not on the map. For the test, I created a game and was playing alone : it works in CTF game mode BUT ONLY with ORIGINAL maps. I checked "Master CTF Flag", well I checked everything possible for the control point...I DOESN'T WORK IN CTF MODE WHEN THE MAP WAS SAVED WITH BC v2.1.

Later, I f..k..ed up : load and SAVE Dc DustBowl (nothing more). As a result, this map didn't work in CTF mode anymore (no flags to take and not visible on the map) EXCEPT if I join an internet game. This is not really a problem : uninstall/re-install.

Moreover, the .rfa file size was half of its original size. May that be THE problem ?

Let's get to the point : COULD SOMEONE HELP ME ?

Saving a map under an other name will cause problems, most of the paths that contain the maps name will have to be edited manually. To fix your problem open the map you want to edit, save it as a copy (!!) and then manually check for any lines containing the maps name and edit them (check all the .con files usiing the archive file editor (f11?).

I am using BC 2.1 to make FH maps and have no problems other than a unwanted texture showing up ingame that wont disappear.

Someone on BC forum said it is a random texture problem linked to a Omaha beach map but I cant find any problems.

You have to manually add the flag coordinates to the CTF folder, just copy and paste the conquest flag coords

Heres my problem, it give me a bunch of opengl errors on startup, then when I try to open a map it closes itself I have the latest nVidia driver but it still errors. it claims texture_compression is not on my computer but BF42 and BFV work fine
