Re Bots don't fly, managed to get Bots to fly extra planes placed in a level,but all they do is fly around and don't attack anything.Need a helping hand.

I have converted a custom Multi-Player Map to a Single Player Map, I have managed to make most of it work correctly except the non shooting flyers.

I had a similar problem with bots not using artillery, defguns and naval guns. The solution I was told (and it works) is this: Open your Objects.rfa and extract the plane(s) the bots fly but don't shoot from. Then open the .rfa for your custom map and add a folder called (guess) Objects. Now, in the extracted folder for each plane you want the bots to shoot from, go to the AI subfolder and open the Weapons.con. Increase the MaxDistance number. It's usually set at 300; increase that to between 500 and 550. Set the aiStrength numbers like so for fighters' machineguns: Infantry 7.0 LightArmor 6.0 HeavyArmor 0.0 NavalArmor 0.0 Submarine 0.0 Air 9.5 I usually set the fighters' bombs to minDistance 0.1, maxDistance 0.1, unless I can verify that that fighter actually carried bombs. Use the same machinegun numbers for bombers, in the Bombs sections, increase maxDistance by 50-75 points for small bombers like Stukas, SBDs and AichiVals, and 100-200 points for heavy bombers like the B17 and Ju88A. Also remember to set the aiStrength numbers for the bombs depending on WHAT you want the bombs to hit. For naval theater bombers like the AichiVal and SBD, you want: Infantry 6.0 LightArmor (this means landing craft in Pacific maps) 7.0 HeavyArmor 5.0 NavalArmor 9.0 Submarine 4.0 (not as important as naval, since bots don't really use the subs.) Air 1.0 Once you have the AI Weapons behavior tweaked the way you want it, drop each of the modified plane folders into the empty Objects subfolder in your custom map. Recompress that sucker and you're ready to rock. Not only will the bots engage air-to-air with these numbers, they'll also perform strafing runs. Muy cool! :D
