Is it possible to create new buildings in BF and place them on a map?

Hi foi_game,

It certainly is, check out all the mods going on, like the star wars mod, Empires mod, they have new buildings, however once you place a new building on a map it then becomes a mod rather than just a map.

Have fun

It would be nice of them to release a SDK, however I thingk it will always be best developing items with tools designed for them, like 3DS MAX that most ppl use for modeling, I don't think, even with the best of intentions, EA or DICE could produce anything that matched that for modelling. What they do need are the basic tools, then let ppl choose between their own favourite apps for comlicated things like 3D modelling.

BTW jpwgeek, could you please put some full stops and comma's in your sentences in the future thanks.

have fun
