:uhoh: :uhoh: God I am going nuts. I can't get Editor 42 to open my maps! I always get an error message. It won't even open the maps I create IN Editor 42!! I created a FH map in BC and want to finish it in ED42 Help!

I have it installed exactly as specified c:\editor 42\

with subdirectories \library \script \tools

I have the meshes and stuff installed to

c:\bfdev

with subdirectories \bf1942 \objects \standard mesh \texture

All my BF42 game files, mods and battlecraft are installed to

c:\program files\ea games

Please help and thanks!!!

I'm going to assume the level is supposed to be called "Kasserine_Pass" and not the double version we see here... I'd look through con files and see if you've accidentally entered that in twice somewhere...

Man, I am plagued. I checked all the con files and there are no double entries. I have NO idea where Editor 42 is finding two of them. I have never entered in the map name in lower case anyway anywhere on my PC. %#)(*&@#$^&!)(*&@#((&!!!!!!!! :angry:

I am going to keep looking I guess. ugh. I really appreciate the suggestion though!! thanks

Unless it has something to do with the way I have Editor 42 directories set up.

I have it looking for my map in

c:\bfdev\bf1942\levels\Kasserine_Pass

edit: ya, the double entry should be okay. It is looking in the directory "kasserine_pass" for the map "Kasserine_Pass"

The map has its own directory
