can someone tell me how to get them to work, what do i need to extract with RFA extractor?

so far i can open up BF1942 maps, but like i said b4 all the objects are just squares

also were do i extract them to? at the moment im extracting them to

Hi ivanhoe,

Did you run the .bat file "install_resources.bat" that came with the editor? This will extract all the objects needed the editor and put them in the correct places. Once that has been run this is what the editor folder structure should look like.

Hope this helps

Now that's an interesting question, to which I don't yet have the answer. I downloaded and installed it and made sure it was working ok and did a few test runs but haven't yet got around to working on my "big" project "The Battle for Australia" involving the battles on the Kokoda Trail and air raids over Darwin, so I haven't really got as far as creating a working map.

I am sure someone knows so could they please pop in with the correct answer?

Have fun

Serious man, i was thinking about the same sought of ideas...i even reckon that EA should bring out an expansion pack for us aussies.

Anyway hopefully someone can answer our question.

DO you think maybe that Madbull hasnt yet added that feature to his editor?

i got this off another forum....can anyone make anything from it regarding our qn?

"I'm not exactly sure, but I believe Madbull's gets the Object Spawn list from the ObjectSpawnTemplate.con file. You gotta have it made first or copy one that suits your purposes."

Hi shadowhunter626,

Looks like you're new here so welcome to the forums. You will find the file at bf1942files.com, just go to the file search form (bottom of left column) and type in madbull and you will find it in the list.

Have fun
