im been an advid game modder for some time now but with the release of BF1942. I need some more info.

1) are there any type of sheets out there that will give me min and max polycounts

2) I need to no more own the naming conventions,

3) I've have picked up Rex's bftools, but cant seem to get anything imported into max4.2 except the collsion meshes.

This doesnt not help with my top questions. I would also like to know how the tanks are dedecting the ground for the wheel and track movements. Also how are the tracks built. I mean Im very good at 3ds max but with out some kind of references models I havnt a clue on how there used in the game.

any info much appreciated.

I found some reference models for the net when i got the milkshape plugin, wont need it but anyhow.

Heres the plan. im creating a mod that will have have towable equipment Like 76mm and 88 mm anti-tank guns, howiters the neblewefers and so on. They will use the same code as the artilleray has when called for support. all will be towed behind halftracks. once the modeling done (in progress) ill right the code for this. Im also going to create some flame tanks. and create texture for the flame effects. basicly the same as the blood patch but with flames. I hope a can find the time to get it release soon. there are a bunch of good mooders on this forum and there coming out of the walls.:dance:
