Is there anyway to repack an extracted rfa file? (Now it's a folder)

What I did:

I found some cool Texture vor a Colt, a plane and other.

I extract the texture.rfa file with Mosley's 1.1

Now I have a Folder with a lot of dds files an 3 (sub)folders.

I replaced some of the dds files.

I rename the texture.rfa to texture.rfa.old

The "new" texture folder is in the same folder as the texture.rfa.old

Problem: When I start the game, I have NO textures anymore. I did like discribe in a tutorial on www.bf1942.nl There is written, that the game if it don't find the texture.rfa it will load the texture folder. But it doesn't. :-(

I have a German Version of Battlefield, now V1.31 The main structure is:

..Programme/EA GAMES/Battlefield 1942/Mods/BF1942

The init.con file is here:..Programme/EA GAMES/Battlefield 1942/Mods/BF1942/init.con

The texture.rfa: ..Programme/EA GAMES/Battlefield 1942/Mods/BF1942/Archives/texture.rfa

I tried these change in the init.con file: textureManager.alternativePath Mods/BF1942/texture

Ok, what do (did) I wrong?

Thanx

Ok, nothing special, if you have a patch installed, you must uncompress every texture file so texture.rfa, texture_001.rfa etc en rename em all, that's it

???

Ok I did it, but the problem is the same.

Instead of the 2 file texture.rfa and texture_001.rfa there are now one folder: texture

I tried also with these commands in init.con file:

textureManager.alternativePath Mods/bf1942/Archives/ textureManager.alternativePath Mods/bf1942/Archives/texture textureManager.alternativePath Mods/bf1942/Archives/texture/

Nothing works... the game won't finde the textures...
