Okay this is probably really easy, but I want to make the weapons in DC .3 kill faster. I noticed that it took like three hits to kill a soldier with the sniper rifle. 1 hit to the head but any where else and it is 3 or more. I think that is sort of unrealistic. If someone could tell me which files I would need to edit, and which lines to edit in those files, in order to make the weapons kill faster I would greatly appreciate it. This is simply for the hand weapons (I think the other weapons are just fine) but this has been bugging me since DC .3 came out. Thanks to anyone who can help me.
You need to make your own material then edit the sniper rifle to shoot that material. Might be an easier way, but this is the way I like to do it.
Okay I did a little digging after posting my first message and what I did was open up the objects.rfa and in there is the handweapons folder with all the weapons that are used. Now I looked through the objects.con, the weapons.con, and the geometries.con files to see if there was anything that popped out at me. I did notice a couple of values that looked good to play around with such as the number of magazines carried, and in the weapons.con file I noticed "weaponTemplate.setStrength Infantry 4.0" and was wondering if I changed this value if this would make the weapon stronger. If anyone else can help me out I would definetly appreciate it, this is only going to be played offline (slow connection) so I would like it to be more realistic. Thanks again
