hey guys im a modder for other games, mostly MOHAA. And i was wondering if i can get a few questions answered about modeling in BF.
1. whats the max amount of polys for a battlfield model. 2. what kind of file type does bf use for its models. 3. Where can i find a tutorial on how to get models in game

1. I don't think there is a limit. but you should keep it below 2000. 2. The file type for the models is .sm and there is another file for texture information and its an .rs. 3. Well, what happens if im making a model thats 3000-5000 polys, cause right now im making a M4a1 RIS and with just the barrel and vertical grip its 1700 polys!
i use milk3d and there like 12 slice circles. ill go back and make em less stacks tho cus i do alot of extruding
That would be very laggy. I don't know a thing about modeling though. Just keep in mind that BF has LODs.
