Yes... its true...

I've finally finished the work on my 1.0 release of the RFA Explorer.

This version has everything!!

Searching, Full drag and drop, Full blown GUI interface... Preview files before extract... Full directory extract, single file extract AND YES... IT CAN CREATE RFAs!!!

I'm hoping that this is the end-all tool.

Here is a screenshot...: http://www.cruachan.net/bf1942/build_enabled.jpg

Here are the instructions: http://www.cruachan.net/bf1942/rfa_ex_faq.htm

You can download the file from BF1942Files.Com under Utilities > Miscellaneous

Or from my website: http://www.cruachan.net/bf1942

Enjoy!

Well.. the preview window is not currently capable of "showing" you what is inside a binary file... like a wav file or DDS...

when you select a con file or txt file or something, you will see the contents.

My next version will preview everything I can think of.

You can listen to the wav file though... double click on it, or click the play icon on the left.

Does that answer your question?

Hope so...

Does this problem keep you from being able to build the RFA? Or is it just during the process of replacing the file? In other words, does it crash, or just bother you?

Is there any way you can be more specific as to what you are trying to do?

Send me a personal note or email and we can take the discussion offline. If you are having the problem, chances are, others might be having it as well.

Click the "extra" section of the nav bar, click help, then email me from the link in there. I'll see what I can do to help.

Thanks,

Col. Cruachan
