Can someone tell me how I can change the amount of antitank soldiers that spawn ? i'd like to lessen the amount of them and replace them with the medic/engineer. Can't find any tutorials about this, sorry if this has been posted before. thnx :uhm:
Sorry, no way. You can remove the entire AT class from the menu and let AT kits spawn on the maps.I've done that and I must say it improves gameplay a lot. But you can't set the ratio of a certain class
OK then, that kinda sucks ...... as for your suggestion, do I just delete or rename it from the basekit or is it more complicated than that ? I thought that was what the kitTemplate/setBattleStrength was for I can kinda play with the ratio a little but there seems no exact way. P.S. thanks for the quick response.
OK, after looking at the kittemplate for another 16hrs (lol). I've come to the realization that it's meant for what they will attack the most (right?). think i'll go beat myself about the head with an old corncob now. Hey recruit, how long have you been digging into the AI for ? It's frustrating me something awful right now. :bows:
I was talking about the entire game when I suggested you remove the AT class, not on a specific map. The (main) spawn menu will show five classes (in my case, it's two different Assaults) but no AT class. Thereafter, players will find AT kits spawning on maps or placed by certain vehicles. Thus you'll reduce the number of AT weapons per map. And bots do not pick up kits which is a relief :) . Pic:
