What's the best thing you've ever done in AoE? What have you done that has made you feel proud of yourself after? Maybe it was fighting off 8 other players, or maybe it was winning a fierce strategic battle, etc. What is your greatest/best accomplishment?

Guarding my Friend untill he had proper resources in the middle before 3 enemies attacked us, eventualy they broke my walls and destroyed me, but it took them a Hour & a half... and my buddy won so it didnt matter... Other than that... Killing Joan of Arc in a Scenario! not the ones that came with the game... different scenario, a MP one.

Setting up the perfect ambush with my teammates online. It took a long time to build it up and make everything perfect, but when everyone did their job perfectly, it was magic. Seeing people asking for help and acting intelligently, and seeing people respond to their requests efficiently, with the correct number and type of units, that is nice to see. Plus pooling resources to strengthen defenses and build armies up again afterwards was a nice bit of teamwork.

Yes, when you have teamates that really work together, anything is possible, in any game.

Too bad there are so many idiots out there who think 'teamwork' is using your mates as support and trying to grab all the glory, and using no strategy whatsoever that might require a chat button. That's why I quit playing online RTS's

I came back from a defensive struggle against a vastly superior AI alliance of three team. For hours I was on the brink of disaster. All I had left were villagers. At once point, I had one villager left, working on a mine far away, when everyone else was slaughtered. I made more and would rush them into the town center when the next wave of enemy troops came in. Then I would send them out to build houses and military building. Eventually I was able to fend them off and rebuild my army, but most of the game I was hanging by a thread. I was most imprssed with that game and the great comeback :)

My greatest 'feat' would have to be the time I played on the Scandinavia map and I built walls to represent Norway's borders, and I fought back 4 hard enemies all by myself. It's harder than it sounds. Norway is long and narrow, and it's hard to keep moving my armies to a certain point to defend against the armies of darkness. Sometimes the enemies would attack in unison, and sometimes breaking through my walls and killing my civilians. :(

Nice battle, defense has always been a favorite of mine. Must've taken awhile to beat...
