We'll hopefully see another AoE2, but reborn in a new engine, with new features.

I am very shure it is not on the HL2 engine. 1. It was not mentioned on games being made on the Source engine in the Steam news. 2. The engine is not suited for RTS. 3. It is common these days that engines get designed for RTS games 4. They would have not enough time to make/playtest the game.

Yes, it was never said that it was being done in the Source Engine graphics-wise, but it's using the same, or a similiar to physics engine.

1. Not Graphics, Physics 2. Yes it is. Think ragdoll soldiers under you're command, hit with artillery, they go flying back. 3. What? 4. And what makes you think they wouldnt?

Yeah, the physics should be impressive if they're using the Source physics engine. The only issue I can see it Multiplayer, as that many physics can take a bit of processing power.
