Over the last few weeks we've been rolling out a lot of features and changes to the site, so I'm going to roll them up here for people to see and comment / ask questions, as always please keep the feedback coming!

  •  Users can now edit their own files, whenever a file is edited, it will be put back into the approval queue and not be visible until it is approved.

  •  Users can now also upload new versions of their mods, this will supersede the existing version, and will allow users to download older versions from a new subsection of their file page. You can also disable downloading of old versions if you wish. When a new version is submitted, the old one will continue to be available while the new version is in the approval queue.

  • Game pages have been overhauld now to use a nicer, card based appearance, include more data, and also on category listings, hovering the name of a mod now previews it's description.

  • We've had a huge screenshot restoration thanks to Nexus, so a lot of files previously missing old screenshots are now back.

  • We've moved most menus to the right hand side, this seems more logical as people read left to right, it may take some getting used to but we hope you agree is an improvement.

  • The search box on the home page now shows what type you're searching for in the placeholder, and changes when you select another option.

  • Lots of fit and finish fixes and tweaks, and bug fixes.

Enjoy!

Nice!  But is there a way to remove or kill the link to really old files?  I have a few mods from back in the day that are, well, crap.  Really would like to have them removed or keep people from downloading them.  Maybe have a redirect feature to a new mod or something or a delete option?  Will be uploading a few new mods soon and don't want those old ones available anymore.

Hey,

So yes, sort of, if you have a new version of a mod, then you can upload a new version in it's place and then disable downloading of the old version.

Deleting outright isn't something that users can do yet (but will be able to soon) but in the mean time if you want to let me know which ones you'd like deleted we can do that for you.
