(For The Titan) Can Anyone tell me how to edit unit name, attack, armor, and all that, because i tried and i cant, I can do it with object editor for the 1 AOM not Titan but i cant for the Titan can anyone help??
If it's for a specific map then you can edit all of those parameters within the editor by using the effect 'modify protounit'. To change the unit name use the effect 'change unit name'.
well, i don't think im using a "specific map", any other guide????
Well then the only other way I know of is to learn modding and proto editing. You first have to convert the proto file using AOMed. CoolSk8r32 had a reasonable modding guide (on AOMFiles) which shows you how to do this (among other things). Once the file is converted you can open it up using notepad and edit the required parameters.
what about this, Do you know how to change units hp, attack, and armor that only does effect in the editor instead just everything????
I told you before if you want it to come into effect only in the editor then you have to use the 'change proto unit' effect. You have to do this for every map though. THere is no way to universally make those changes except for proto editing.
I tried CoolSk8r32 guide before, my game got screwed my game up, and what was that "specific map" because i've never heard of it before
By 'specific map' I meant any scenario you are creating in the editor that you want the changes to hp, armour, etc to effect. I didn't mean a particular map.
Have you tried the map called "asgard_v_olympus_sp_titans" was that map using something else because that on it has different names and when you right click of the icon of a selected unit it says like "attack 51(11+40) dont tell me it was the same as using the aomed because i hate it.
Yes. I've just had a look at the that scenario's triggers. The creator used the effect 'change unit name' to change the names and 'modify proto unit' to change hp etc. Have a look for yourself if you don't believe me. Just open the map up in the editor and scroll through the triggers. What you were seeing when you right clicked on the unit was how much the unit's attack had been increased by as a result of this trigger.
