Ok, can someone tell me how to make my own map, but, make it a lighting game. Please help whoever can.

rate construction rate training rate research

make a trigger including those effects, with condition always, and let the trigger be active, and run inmmediately. the higher the number you type in each effect is, the faster it will do research such as improvements, Training for how long units will take for getting trained, and construction being how long it will take a villager/unit to build something

no no no, I mean I want to know how to make it not a scenario but a regular game lightning style like, you know like death match,conquest (ect.), lol

you need to make a trigger with those effects, in the editor. just set a number, and try to make the rates of each category simmilar to a lighting Random Map game if you mean like making a random map with a lighting speed game style, and not an scenario, then first: in order to make a Random Map Script you need to know some sort of lenguage program such as C++. i'm not sure if the game itself automatically aranges the rates of each category when you select the option lighting. anyways, if the game doesnt do this for you, then you need to add triggers in the RM script .XS document which are the same as the ones in my first post, only that in a RMS .XS is really complicated to add and set triggers. here is a simple demonstration between creating a trigger in the Editor, and in a .XS document for a RM script EDITOR: Trigger_1: Active, Run Inmmediately Effect: Set Lighting Condition: Always .XS document of a RM script: //Lighting rmCreateTrigger("DayNight"); rmSetTriggerEffectParamInt("EventID",rmTriggerID("DayNight")); rmSetTriggerActive(true); rmSetTriggerLoop(false); rmAddTriggerEffect("Set Lighting"); rmSetTriggerEffectParam("SetName","Default"); rmSetTriggerEffectParamInt("FadeTime",100); rmAddTriggerEffect("Fire Event"); rmAddTriggerCondition("Timer"); }

geez you people dont understand, i want to know how to play a level (not a scenario) that i made and put it on the list of levels that come with the game!

geez, you are the one who is making everything complicated. at least try to thank us that are trying to help you

what is the world do you mean by a level? do you mean a random map?

dude, get this straight, if a file has .scx or .scn at the end, it means is an scenario! if the file consist of a .xml and .xs, it means is a Random Map Script.

the only way to put a "level" in the list with the other random maps like Mediterranean, is if you create another random map with the files .XS and .XML. and the only way to make a random map is if you know C++ or simmilar programming lenguages.

It kinda sounds like he wants to add a level to the main campaign (the ones that comes with the game). Not sure tho. Im quite confused.

drizthewiz2: You want to have it so that a map you made in Age of Mythology's scenario editor turns up on the list of maps when you go to campaign, and than select Custom Scenarios? Right?

....to appear there just go single player scenario/load scenario. in there it will appear a list of all scenarios that look exactly like the list of scenarios in the fall of the trident campaign
